Never Too Late

Times of plenty
Oh, these times we live in.
You may wonder why I refuse to be less. Why I just don’t surrender.
For a little while, don’t think of it as more, but think of it as better.
My compassion, my humanity, must always be nourished, must always grow.
I want to be in plenty, not in lack. That great, loving relationship with that great loving woman? I want her to be in plenty, not in lack.
Hide and seek
I have no hiding place in this world, and certainly not here.
I have exposed myself, my heart, my soul, into the ether, the gloaming, the blue marble.
Where can I hide?
The better question is…why should I?
Open heart surgery
What I do here is the simple expression of my heart.
What I do here is the simple extension of my heart.
In and out
When I breathe in and breathe out, everything is clear. Graspable. Reachable.
Real.
