Examination room

The doctor’s room is cold and sterile as you wait for him to come in and give you the once-over. And it is a once-over, to make sure you’re healthy and that all your bits are where they are supposed to be. It’s sort of an interrogation into your body. Shouldn’t your mind and soul be up for the same scrutiny, as well? Again, from a comment from a great blog (http://www.theatlantic.com/personal/archive/2010/12/the-mind-in-motion/67413/), something that you should not be afraid to carry with you…

I have come to believe that morality is a lifetime of self-interrogation.
